- Blit asks before it reads a receipt online
- Receipt photos are never stored
Blit splits the restaurant bill. Snap the receipt, send the table a link, and everyone taps what they had, right in their phone's browser. It comes out exact, down to the penny.

The bill
The bill comes. Someone gets a calculator out, someone skipped dessert, and the service is “split evenly, right?”. Ten minutes later the host has paid for everything, and three weeks of “I'll send it tomorrow” begin. Blit does the sums for you, fairly and without the arguments.
Thursday crew4 people
JamieWho's got a calculator? I only had the ribeye and two beers.
SamCan't we just split it evenly?
MorganI had the aubergine. Not paying for your steaks.
I'll put it on my card, pay me back after. Jamie, you still owe me a tenner.
Done, everyone has claimed their items.

Settle
The host settles the bill and every share is fixed. Mark yours paid by cash, bank transfer or Revolut, and the host confirms.
Try it
Try it on this bill. Pick who you are, then tap what you had. A shared dish splits between the people who had it, and every share adds up to the total exactly.

Nobody owns a group, and nothing in it is about who paid or when.
No. They open the link or enter the room code in their phone's browser and claim their items there. They never pay and never need an account. Only hosting a room and scanning the receipt need an account, in the app or in the browser.
Soon, as an app for iPhone and Android and in any phone's browser. People on the list get it first, before the public launch.
There, someone types everything in by hand after the meal. With Blit you snap the receipt and everyone claims their own items, live, while you're still at the table. And when you can't agree, a game decides.
Blit reads the photo online and lists every item, quantity and price, then checks the sum against the printed total. It asks before reading your first receipt, and you can always add items by hand instead.
Yes. Blit reads the receipt in the bill's own currency, pounds, euros, lei and many more, and checks the sum against the printed total. If something doesn't match, you can add or fix items by hand.
No. Receipt photos are never stored or logged.
However your table agrees: in proportion to what each person had, evenly, all on one person, or as custom amounts. Every share adds up to the bill exactly.
The host paid the restaurant, so everyone owes the host. Mark your share paid, by cash, bank transfer, Revolut or another way, and the host confirms it.
A group is the people you split with again and again. Start one from any settled split, and friends join with one tap or a link. It shows your splits together, what each of you has split so far, your streak of weeks in a row and the table's facts, like your biggest bill and usual night. From three splits with three people it hands out friendly awards, like Regular, Organiser, Luckiest and Fastest draw. Nobody owns a group, and nothing in it is about who paid or when.
